Tuesday we were fortunate enough to be able to play an awesome show at the Marquee Theatre (our first time at the venue), opening for the high energy rockers Cage The Elephant. They showed that they’re more than their radio rockin ”Aint No Rest For The Wicked”, and we feel they have lots of potential.
We’d like to thank Gadger, and the rest of the staff, at FM 103.9 who have been incredibly supportive of this little band. Thank you very much for the tremendous opportunity.
We especially want to thank our fans for sticking with us up to this point. We couldn’t have done it without you. It’s been a long rewarding journey, and we plan to keep at it. We’ll do something like this again real soon.

How have you guys been? We’ve been good. We’re keeping busy.
We had an awesome time playing with Authority Zero. The stage set-up for the night was very nice. It was also very cool to have our friend Michael Broyles playing piano on a few of the songs.
We have some cool shows on the horizon. Both cool for different reasons.
This Saturday in Glendale we’ll be playing at Westgate Shopping Center in the Fountain Park. It’s free, all ages, and close for all you west valley folks to come and check us out. We may have a new song or two since you’ve seen us last and this is a great opportunity to experience it for free. We hit the stage at about 6pm and will be done at 9pm.
Next Thursday we’ll be rocking socks off at the posh Scottsdale rock club Dirty Pretty. Come out for an awesome night of music at a really nice bar. We go on at about midnight.
The third Thursday of this month we’ll be rocking with Black Carl and Boston’s Crash Kings. Crash Kings are an awesome band that bridges the gap between the piano rock of Ben Folds Five and the garage punk of The White Stripes. We’re very excited the share the stage with them. This all goes down at Craftsman Court in Scottsdale. Listen to FM 103.9 for more details.

We’ll be playing ASU’s polytechnic homecoming event on the 29th of this month. We’re pretty excited about it as we’ll be opening for Authority Zero (a local band previously signed to Lava Records, a Warner Music Group affiliate label). It will be lots of fun and it will be really fun to play for a larger than normal audience. It’s free to get in with an ASU ID, and ASU students may bring one guest. We’ll go on at 6pm.

We will be selling 30 limited edition Grunge EPs at our Grunge show on Saturday at Last Exit. Both songs were recorded at my house on labor day weekend, and we are happily surprised how well they came out.
The songs on the EP are:
Breed [Nirvana]
Charlie Sheen [grunge version of Steve McQueen]
These limited edition EPs will have an outer plaid sleeve designed by our friend, and our live sound guy’s wife, Jessica Tucker. As well each disc will be hand painted. There are only a few of them, and we will not be making more, so make sure and come out to Last Exit on Saturday to get your copy.

Hey ____. I appreciate you and the band’s friend’s requesting their music! But for now, the music is dedicated to be played on the local frequency show with gadger on Sunday nights. Great band…and I wish them the best of success. And who knows…soon – they will break into that next phase! I hope so. Thanks for writing in!
Please share this email with the band and their friends.
Robin
Well thanks Robin Nash,
I appreciate your candid honesty with the people who request songs on your show. It’s really cool how you actually talk to people. It’s a shame to know that 103.9 has relagated the music of the people who listen to your station to the basement of radio programs.
Speaking of local radio stations. Next week, we’ll be playing a set of acoustic songs on the low powered east valey (of Phoenix) modern rock radio station KWSS 106.7. We’ll keep you posted on the details. You might as well shift your requests over to KWSS. I guess they might actually play them…

We’ve uploaded for your enjoyment our single for Outta My Mind. Enjoy all of its digital goodness, complete with a digital liner notes. Along with Outta My Mind the single includes the b-sides You, The Perfect Flame & the Funky See, Funky Do. Both b-sides were recorded by Josh Tucker at MCC … while ago. They were recently re-mixed and re-mastered (lightly). The music can be downloaded from the Hear/Free MP3 section and the main page. As well there is a digital liner notes which can be downloaded from the main page.
You may notice a bit of a theme running through the artwork and some little touches on the songs. Let’s just say we like James Brown a little bit.
Enjoy, pass it along, burn a copy, put it in the bathroom. Whatever you’d like.
